Welcome to GO Fish, Centenary style! Come along for the journey as we grow in faith and community. In the days ahead, we are departing on Mission Montana. Follow us as we take an environmental Mission Trip to Bozeman MT.
It is always an adventure to travel along with the Centenary Youth! This will be my 4th trip with Centenary Youth on a mission trip. As I reflect back over the years, I marvel at the depth of faith so may of these young people have. I love their enthusiasm and joy. It fills me with so much hope. So enjoy the adventures as they are posted as we travel onward. May you also be filled with hope!
I am so excited for this trip! This will be my second mission trip with the Centenary Youth - and the first with our oldest daughter. We have a wonderful group of 9 Youth led by 5 of us adults. All will be packed in 1 Centenary van towing 1 trailer. Come see us off Saturday morning - we plan to gather in Centenary's parking lot at 6am and hit the road around 6:45am. Be prepared...the Youth (and Leaders) will be changed by our experiences on this trip, in surprising and unexpected ways. And hopefully you will be changed as well by following along with us as we "Seek the Lord, Share the Word, and Serve the World".
This is my 3rd mission trip with Centenary. My first two were as youth and now as an adult. I am so excited to be with this years youth and adults as we travel to Montana. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to travel the different states to help make a difference. I am excited to see what stories and adventures we encounter on our trip. Most of my fondest memories of Centenary have occurred on mission trips. It was a great learning experience as a youth and I am excited to see what it brings me as an adult. We have made it to Rapid City and have settled into our rooms. We arrived a little later than expected due to TWO flat tires! I blame it on Pat ;). We stayed entertained in the car by playing catch phase, the name game, and reading. Hopefully tomorrow will go smoother than day.
